Jon is a Shareholder and member of the Firm’s Government Contracts & Bid Protests and Cybersecurity Practices. He leads the group’s administrative practice, which includes bid and size protests.

Government Contracts

Jon has two decades of experience in government contracts law in private practice, the intelligence community, and in-house. Jon uses his multifaceted experience to help clients achieve their business goals. He has extensive experience successfully representing clients at the GAO, Small Business Administration’s Office of Hearing and Appeals, Court of Federal Claims, Armed Services and Civilian Boards of Contract Appeals, and the Defense Office of Hearing and Appeals.

Jon also routinely assists clients in negotiations with an alphabet soup of agencies, including the DCAA, DCMA, and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. He recognizes that many companies also need assistance with day-to-day contracting administration matters and assists them on a broad range of topics.

Cybersecurity

Jon works closely with companies on regulations and policies related to cybersecurity. He monitors the evolving cybersecurity landscape closely to be best able to advise clients as the changes impact them and their supply chains.

International Trade

Jon has developed an expertise in international trade law and helps clients navigate the byzantine world of exports and imports. Jon routinely assists clients in export and import compliance and in classifying the goods and services they purchase and sell overseas.

Jon received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
